Since 1999, Dress for Success Vancouver has empowered more than 48,000 women and gender-diverse individuals on their paths to economic mobility and personal success. Over this time, workplaces and career paths have changed — and so have we. Today, we’re sharing something we’ve been working on: a refreshed brand that reflects who we are now, and where we’re headed.
Our Evolution
The world of work is changing, and the women and gender-diverse individuals we serve are navigating that shift every day. Career paths are more complex now than when we opened our doors in 1999, and our organization has grown to reflect that. What began as just Dressing Services, providing professional clothing for interviews and new jobs, has expanded into a full suite of programs — from workshops and career supports, to leadership development through the Working Women’s Group, all while maintaining our namesake Dressing Services program. Our refreshed brand reflects the expanded community we serve and the changing world they are navigating today.
A New Tagline. The Same Purpose.
Our new tagline, Igniting Careers. Transforming Futures., reflects the full scope of what we do: from the moment a client walks through our doors to the lasting impact that uplifts their family and their community. It’s bold, direct, and grounded in what our community has always known to be true: Dress for Success Vancouver is here to support women and gender-diverse individuals throughout their career journey.
What’s New, and What Isn’t
Our programs haven’t changed; We continue to provide Dressing Services, workshops, leadership development, and wrap-around support for the 2,500+ women and gender-diverse individuals we serve each year. What has changed is our visual identity — a new logo, updated colours, and a refreshed website that better reflects who we are today. You’ll also notice some small language updates across our content, like moving from “suiting” to “styling” to better reflect the full experience we offer in our boutique. These shifts are intentional, chosen to reflect the modern workplace and the people we serve.
Our Commitment
Success starts now. It starts in our boutique, in our workshops, and in the community we’ve served since 1999. This next chapter represents the evolution of our work, not a new direction. When a woman or gender-diverse individual is ready to move forward, we believe support should be accessible, timely, and within reach. This belief is what drives everything we do, and it’s what will continue to carry us forward.
